blank tt 700

can anyone help ? i have a tom tom 700 which i think is a great piece of kit, but having only used for 3 months the screen has gone blank and only the green light works, is there a fuse or something inside unit , tom tom say they will repair but will be 10 day turnaround, and i can't find my way past front gate without it.

have you tried thwe reset on the bottom of the tomtom

Unlucky mate, Best to get it in the post for repair.

Touch wood my 700 has been fantastic, Only had to reset it about 3 times in 8 month.
