Red face tomtomgo300 problem

i recently bought a tom tom go 300 i have installed the speed camera files to the sd card in great britain map the ov2 files,i did this via my pda as i can sync with my pc and go into the card, now when i put the card back in i get the cross through the card?but the strangest thing is the card works in my pda and that as navigator5 onit, does anyone know what the problem is as i didnt delete anything?i do not have the setup disk with the unit and no its not stolen i have left my details of the unit and my self to tom tom but they just seem to be takeing ages to reply i have tried putting my sd card out of the pda into it and thats a 256k one and that does the same thing?red cross through the card.

would it be possible to load my tom tom navigator software onto the unit via the set up disk i have for this?any help would be appreciated

yes i made a backup of the sd card from the tom tom go,it shouldnt make no difference wether i use the ttg or a multi card reader as the software is stored on the sd card nothing was deleted or removed ,as on some files access is denied on some of the files on the sd card, the only way to erase anything off the card is to formatt it.i returned this unit and got a phone call today to say the memory card was wiped, and its now working again i find this very strange as the tom tom come with the activation codes and the install cd that came with the unit and would of had to of been used to re install everything,i think they have just swapped the unit for another one.i will soon see as i made a back up on my desktop, and also the sd card worked in my pda no problems and when i removed it from the pda it would say carnt find maps???
