no gps device found ???

i have recently uploaded some voices,POIs and splashes etc onto my tom tom 300 from a cd purchased from ebay and whilst doing this experienced various problems with my pc. It slowed up and stalled on two occasions but after restarting all was fine , however after i tried to install some voices agian it said not enough memory on my sd card so i turned off and thought nothing of it. tried to turn on the tom tom and cant get anything accept the screen without any sat signal and a message saying "no gps device found" i cant turn off the tom tom or view any menus so i have to use the reset button underneath. When i check the device on the pc it all seems ok but the sd card always says card needs formatting ??? im confused any ides or help ?????? i feel like an idiot.

Did you not take a backup of the SD card first?? If you did then id wipe your SD card and then copy back the backed up files.

If you didnt, then i guess you will remeber to next time!!!! Your going to need to find someone to send you the basic setup version again. Or download a version for the 300 from TomTom and re install it.
