tomtom classic go burn out ?

I've been offered a tom tom go classic- it's not working due to a power overload (?) from the 12volt car charger. I'm told this is a known problem & repairable. Does anyone know about this ? surely tomtom should repair if it's due to fauty car chargers, as I'm told it is. Any advice ?

Try tomtom on 08451610009. The first of batches of the chargers had this problem but if your was one it would have went long ago. I'm pretty sure the Go classics had a two year warrenty as well.
