Default Tom Tom 700 locked up

Hi,

Just checked for updates by connecting the USB lead via Tom Tom Home to my 700 and now I have the Tom Tom Go screen which I cannot move from.

Can't even switch the unit off.

Any ideas please?

Thanks.

Griff.

Connect the GO to the mains charger then press and release the reset button found on the base of the device.

If the problem persists connect the GO to the charger then press and hold the power button then press and release the reset button then release the power button.

Thanks for that Charlie, it worked.

Didn't want to try that as I thought I might lose my data but it is OK.

Regards.

Griff.
