Copying POI from 510 memory card to 300 memory card

Hi

I have a TomTom Go 300 and have recently bought a TomTom Go 510 for my partner, I've spent hours and hours adding points of interests to the Go 510 and want to copy them to my Go 300 (I could enter them in manually but it will take hours).

My computer has a card reader, but I don't know how to copy the info from the new card on to the old one.

Can anyone help??

What you would do is open your GB map folder.

Each POI consists of a .OV2 file, and a .BMP file (both of the same name - as defined under your POI settings). Copy these between the 2 devices, then set up any alert settings on the other device.

Repeat for other countries you have which you want to copy POI's you've added/created.
