TOM TOM 5 Onto XDA2i???

Can anyone please let me know how to install this.
I have an original TT5 Go and want to put it onto my PDA leaving the original for the missus.
I have copied the card onto my lap top and transferred it onto the XDA but where do you put it into (which files/folders)?
Searching the forum, I have seen putting the cad files here and exe files there but this makes sense to the person that posted the thread.
Can someone do a step by step procedure? It may be as simple as taking the card and putting it onto the XDA-it did start to copy bit I thought it might have deleted it from the card?

The software from a tomtom go will not work on a PDA.
