Go 510 or Go 710

Please can someone help me i went to Halfords to buy a TomTom Go 510 and when i got it home i found out that the box has go 510 on it but inside on the unit itself on the back in tiny print is Go 710 next to the FCC code and the IC code, in the middle is (4V00.710) next to that is a bar code wich matches up with the code on the bottmn of the box. when i turned the unit on and had a look at the data it comes up with TomTom Go 510 with application software of 6.110 (70200) and the TomTom site dose not recognise the device code (AKU** ***Q6) Can somebody please tel me whats happend has someone in the shop done a scam.

510s and 710 are physically the same unit the only difference is the memory card so its not a scam as they are all labeled and I think even show up on bluetooth as 710s. Not sure about the device ID check with tomtom on 08451610009.
