Unhappy TomTom 710 and RasR V3 Phone probs

Hi guys, i have just been told by a mobile phone shop that my RasR V3 phone is not compatible with my new TT 710. as i can't seem to connect my phone to it, to enable me to recieve traffic updates.
Is this correct please? as i'm tearing my hair out trying to pair the things up.
Its ok with blue tooth phone connections.

No you should be fine. Just turn BT on, and pair up with the GO using the default pass code of 0000

The setup process should have taken him throuh this - UNLESS the wireless ISP service is not sufficient to allow a connection to the TomTom server. I had exactly that problem, and TomTom support pointed that out.

After upgrading my wireless service - it set up rather easily (note - if it is the service, the setup script on the device might offer to have you set it up manually - which will not work if you do not have the correct service).

Good luck if you are still trying to work it out.

PS - this assumes you could pair the device for hands free but not data.
