710 startup problems

Hello all - Help Please!

I have just got a 710 and it was working fine until I connected to my pc to check for updates and create a backup.

Now all I have is a lit up blank screen - the unit cannot be reset, apparently.

Please help - trip to Belgium planned for tomorrow evening!

Have you tried doing a hard reset of the unit? On TomTom GO 910/710/510, the RESET hole is located on the bottom of the device.
