what happened to my new tom tom 910

, I got my factory refurbishedtom tom 910 on Saturday and I have unpacked this product and charged the product for 2 hours and then switched it on everything was fine i set my home destination and every thing as I read through the book and I connected it to the computer after installing the tom tom go cd w , after connecting the machine updated itself and it came to standstill displaying an image on tom tom screen.I am not able to switch off the machine , so I have factory re setted by pressing the reset button this time it switched itself off , but when I restarted the machine its going back to the same photo and its not letting me to switch it off or I cant override the photo to the GPS sectio
