Tom Tom 500 speed camera alert

Hi all... Have just brought a Tom Tom 500 which has speed camera alerts. It was working fine, warning me of upcoming speed camera's visualy, and with an audiable beep. I then connected my Tom Tom to my PC to veiw the files, now it does not warn me with the beep only a visual and of course you can miss that as you are driving... does anyone have an idea how I can get the audiable warning back please... Thanks in advance.
