Red face GO710 and Sony Eric K810i

I would be very grateful for some advice. I am trying to pair my 710 with my K810i phone i have followed all the advice in the manual etc but still during the 'checking phone settings' stage the tomtom faults and says the phone has disconnected. My phone says it is ready for hands free op but the tomtom says the phone calling etc features are not supported. After this I can set up the data service.

Once this is all over if I ask the phone to conect to the tomtom it says the bluetooth conection fails and the password is wrong.

any advice?

Cool GO710 and Sony Eric K810i

Is there anyone out there who has successfully paired a 710 with a K810i? They look good on the compatibility list but....

Cool Updates

Martin,
thanks for the response. I have now updated my phone, but this has made no difference. I expect the TomTom unit is up to date because tomTom home does that automatically.?.? When I first connected the unit to my PC it downloaded some updates including something (I vaguely remember) to do with phones. Interestingly enough when I go to set up the data connection (after the phone installation has failed) there are prefferences like, UK, Orange contract etc ...when it comes to phone choice the tomtom does NOT list the k810i but does list the k800, which I select. I guess the data connection goes OK because the Tomtom unit will then tell me that I dont have a traffic account and the only way it would know is by talking over the phone.

Martin thanks for your help. The TT software was up to date, but I went on to contact TT help and they advised me to use the clearflash application after this all seems OK.
