Tom Tom Mobile HELP

Hi does any one know if a Route 66 Royal Tec GPS receiver (NMEA 0183 V2.2) will work with the TomTom Mobile application.

If so how do i get them to talk to each other?

If not any ideas which one will and cost and supplier etc

TomTom Mobile is only supposed to work with TomTom receivers but I beleive there may be a workaround for this but haven't tried it.
