case of the vanishing maps

Somebody was messing about with my nokia 6680 with tomtom mobile 5 (GB) installed. Now when I try and open the application, it tells me no maps are found! Is it possible to completely delete the maps from the MMC card? Anyone have any ideas how to get them back?
