TomTom 5 on a T-Mobile MDA Compact

I am experiencing problems trying to get my mda to communicate with the bluetooth gps receiver.

It wont allow me to change my com port to 2, 3 or 9 (recognised by tomtom). Only allows me to connect to com port 6 or 7 which obviously causes a problem.

PLEASE HELP SOMEBODY AS DRIVING ME CRAZY!
