Help with GPS and Nokia N80

Sorry to bother you guys, but I need help!

I bought a Nokia N80 on Ebay with Tomtom V6.010 (7640), GPS Driver V1.20. Firmware V4.0623.041

I also bought a GPS receiver bluetooth BT-74R.

The mobile recognizes the GPS and when I turn it on, and check status, some dots appear in a circle with numbers and some lines beneath??

PROBLEM: The mobile only goes as far as "Waiting for a valid GPS Signal"... This goes off when I turn the GPS BT-74R off and goes back to Waiting message when I turn it on

Is it that I need an antena or is there something else I should be doing?

Appreciate any advice on how to fix this problem.

Firstly, ensure your N80- has the latest firmware. You can do this from the latest version of Nokia Data suite, or from the nokia site under software updates.

Next you pair the GPS device and phone. Open TT and select "other NEMA" and try the default baud rate of 4800 (unless your GPS device unstructions say it uses a higher baud rate - then use that).
