MapNotFound , tomtom6 on ipaq 6340

Hello all folks

My father forgot his ipaq inside a drawer and it was hard resetted due to battery failure.
I'm trying to reinstall his tomtom6 but I get a "map not found" error.
I've upgraded firmware for rom, audio and wireless, installaed .NET cf 3.5
BUT regardless what I try, I get a map not found.
if I clear the configuration file an initial setup for tt6 starts, it asks for hand, km/mil, nd for voice.
The voices cannot be found. Yet the "collected" file is created in the voice directory.

Please can somebody help me ?
