Default TomTom v3.07 update released

TomTom have released a new update for the PocketPC version of Navigator 3.
New features are:

  • Easy installation on a PDA that comes with Windows Mobile Second Edition.
  • TTN3 is unaffected by an incoming call on a MDA2/XDA2/QTEK2020 or an HP-h6300 series PDA.
This makes the new iPAQ 37XX & 47XX series compatible with the bluetooth version.

You can get the update from the Support/Downloads section @ www.tomtom.com .

Hi all
I am having a total mare with version 3 having had a bullet proof version 2. Its a regular GPS set up on a Dell X5 Axim. It wont lock and hold on to GPS and randomly engages and disengages at will. I have tried to install the GPS upgrade from the download site at TT and it doesnt work. I have tried un installing (why dont they have this on the disk) by scouring all the files on the PDA and re-installing but to no avail. has anyone else experienced this ?

Mark

Can't say that I have, don't know about anyone else. You can remove TomTom from the PDA by tapping on START --> SETTINGS SYSTEM -> REMOVE PROGRAMS.

Thx Charlie but that one doesnt work in that you have to find all TT related files and some of them get deposited in some very curious places
