Tom Tom 3 map intallation

Hi Guys,

Got a problem, though you probably guessed that ;-)

I have installed TT3 on my XDA2 and put the Great Britain map folder on a SD card but when I start the TT3 program i gat a message saying that no maps are found.
oh I already have the 3.07 update installed too

Any ideas please?

can you view the files on the storage card? if yes try soft reseting the PDA and trying again normally works :-).

Load a small map onto the internal memory to make sure it picks those up.
Put and mp3 or some pics on the card and listen to or view them on the XDA to make sure that works and let us know what happens.

I also have an XDA2. Yesterday I installed the 3.07 update and got the same problem as Guppy. After trying a soft reset I then reinstalled the maps on the SD card but still the same. However if I restore to the original version of Tom Tom it works fine. So for the time being I have decided to stick with what I've got. Hope somone can come up with a solution

The card is fine , movies & mp3's play fine from it.
When it says install and activate a map does this mean more than just copy it to the card?

It means have your program activated and load some maps to the card.

I am sorted , it was a duff mmc card, got a new SD and all is well.
