Default connection problems blue tooth

i use a ipaq 2210 and holus 230 blue tooth reciever all work well for aprox 10 mins then i loose the blue tooth connection and the only thing that resolves is rebooting tt3 can anybody give me any answers as to what is causing the problem and how i can resolve it

Do you have the latest updates from www.tomtom.com?
What settings have you selected in GPS Status?

yes i have the latest updates and i have it set to com port 8

Check the ROM version on your iPAQ by pressing the reset button then looking in the lower right corner as it boots up. If it's less the 1.10 then you can get the latest from www.hp.co.uk .

yes it is version 1.10 but ive just spoke to a work mate and he suggested it was down to the number of poi visable at so i tried turning them off at the expense of losing speed camera info and this did cure the problem but to my amazment checkPOInt 3.2 still relays voice info on there locations so the only loss i have is no visual on the maps !! so many thanks for your help and may be this will help others with the same problem..cheers

Yeah checkpoint will still alert you as long as the files are physically there. You just can't see them overlayed on the map in TomTom.

is there a reason why poi would cause this problem and can i do anything about it ???

More POIs on screen means more resources being used to display them so may be causing intermittent connection problems. That's about all I can think of.
