Question TOM TOM and Post Codes

I am new to using TOM TOM and having difficulty in getting it to recognise some post codes. I keep seeing references to POIs for post codes but surely TOM TOM should have the correct UK post code database, or is that wishful thinking

Grateful for any pointers, sorry about the pun.

Is there anybody convenient to Portsmouth who could help me install it, as a novice I've come up against a brick wall.

Look on your SD Card and make sure there is a folder named zip. If it's not there you will have to install from the CD.

Next put a new folder on the SD Card and name it tomtom.

To use correctly, choose Navigate to and then go to page 2, Postcodes.

Enter the Postcode without a space e.g. AB12CD.

It should then work OK.
