 Ipaq 2110 Tomtom bluetooth problem
Just puchased a Ipaq 2110 and tomtom bluetooth from total PDA. Originally told when i ordered it that it would arrive the following monday/tuesday but actually arrived the following day less than 24 hours after it was ordered. Needless to say I was impressed!
Anyway upon opening the box and installing software etc had a problem with getting the bluetooth to be seen by the PDA and tomtom software, after many hours went to bed!
Finally sorted it the following day. Although the Tomtom comes with a software update disk it seamed to make thins even worse as did not get any lit of GPS devices to choose from. As a last resort downloaded the update (3.07) from Tomtom website, which i thought would be the same as the updatre disk but surprise it did solve the problem.
Once update installed, in the GPS selection window first dropdown you will need to choose the TomTom wirless GPS option and the second dropdown Bluetooth Serial Port COM8.
Hope this will save someone else some time and frustration
