Angry Hp2210/tomtom3 freezes when running

Hi I have a Hp2210 with a tomtom3 bluetooth gps and sd card. My problem is that after a peroid of time (20mins) the navigator freezes up which is spoiling what I believe to be a really good product.

If I do a soft reset it starts to work again but this means that I have to stop when driving which is not ideal.

Any Ideas how to remedy

Are you up to date with the latest v3.07 update?

Hi Charlie I have the the update for Jun 2004 which I think is 3.03. I have looked at the tomtom site and version 3.07 doesn't seem to apply as my model is a Hp2210.

Is this correct?

It applies to all PPC versions. Try it out.

Hi Charlie, I downloaded version 3.07 and installed it last night. I ran TT3 this morning coming into work and it froze again after 15 minutes saying the gps signal was unreliable (Glasgow G52 area).
I have read that sometimes the sd card can be at fault, mine is a Ridata 512mb.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I've never heard of Ridata.
Try loading a small map to the internal memory of the PDA. If it works like that then you can bet the card is causing problems.
