Exclamation TomTom will not activate on palm PDA

Hi, when installing SD card for the first time I had the TomTom screen appear on the PDA, however, it stalls there, flashing 'Armcode not allocated'! I have paired the device and entered the passcode '0000'. This has still not helped the situation. Can someone please advise? I have a Palmone Tungsten T3 with TomTom Nav Bluetooth.
Cheers

Welcome to our forums.
If you have a card reader then check the contents of the card. There should be a /TomTom directory that contains
  • Data.chk
  • ???.bin (this is the map detail)
  • TMCCODES.PR3
  • DATAxx.CHK (Soundfiles)
  • TMCPATHS.BFL
  • TRAFFIC.DAT
There should also be a /Palm folder which contains start.prc

Hi Charlie,
Looked at card through card reader and found the following:
Data.chk - was OK in \tomtom
???.bin (this is the map detail) found munich.bin ok in \tomtom
TMCCODES.PR3 was found in GB map directory, we moved it to \tomtom
DATAxx.CHK (Soundfiles) 00-24 found in \tomtom
TMCPATHS.BFL was found in GB map directory, we moved it to \tomtom
TRAFFIC.DAT was found in GB map directory, we moved it to \tomtom
After moving the files to the new directory it still shows 'Armcode not allocated!' Do you have any other advice?? Cheers

Since you have a card reader, format the SD card then put it your Palm. Run the TomTom CD and select to install the application and this will load a fresh install back onto the card after you Hotsync.

Hi, It still does not work! I have formatted the original SD card and reinstalled it, formatted again and installed a 16MB Norwich map and it still gives the 'Armcode not allocated!' message. I have also tried it on another SD card of my own and again as soon as you put any map on there it fails.
Please help!!!

I got the same thing on my Tom Tom Navigator Zire 72. I figure it is when you put more than the TomTom program on the SD Chip. Left alone it wordks fine, but add one prc program or one mp3 or mpeg4 and I get that error.
