Default Lost sound on TT3

Hi have been running TT3 on my M1000 for 6wks no probs - then after a hard reset re-installed and now have no sound.
I un-installed and re-installed - still no sound, have also changed to another voice but still no sound.
I don't get any guidance and the TEST button does not produce sound either.
I am getting quite desperate and am trying to avoid a hard reset if at all possible.
Any ideas anyone?

Plug some headphones in and see if you get sounds that way.

No sorry, should have mentioned it - that doesn't work either and I have all other system sounds OK.

I would hard reset it. Strange that only TomTom should have no sound but I did have this once before but it was fine when I changed the voice prompts.

SORTED - Don't know why, but the Programs checkbox under Sounds & Notifications was unchecked after the hard reset. Not sure why I was getting sound from other programs like Windows Media etc - led me up the garden path. Checked the box and the the voice has returned!
Thanks for your suggestions Charlie.

I did think of that but thought it would have stopped all program sounds. Glad it's sorted.
