Okay I have had a development - I have now gone to discovering devices on the PPC and paired with the GPS and created a GPS output icon. When I now connect to the Tomtom3 it shows a connection the black dot is moving on STATUS and the blue light stay on.

However I assume that I don't have a green light flash as I am inside and it cannot receive a signal???
