GPS Problem ipaq2400

I have an ipaq hx2400

Tomtom bluetooth receiver

Tomtom navigator v3

Tomtom gps v3.03

The problem is driving me mad. All I have is an unreliable gps position, my bluetooth connection will only stay on for about 2mins 20 seconds before disconnecting, I am connecting via serial port com5 should this be com8? Only problem I do not have com8 in the drop down. Please help if you can

Get the v3.07 update from TomToms website and that should fix it.
