Default Where am I?

Hi all,

Hope you can help. I would like to use my Tom Tom at other, and more, times than just going on set journeys.

Is there any way I can use Tom Tom just to show/follow/track me around? i.e. not having to state a destination and then going somewhere else (so as not to incur the wrath of the lady telling me to turnaround and it trying to re-calculate the route to my original destination).

Thanks

Garry

Turn Guidance Off by on navigator view touching on screen to open menus, next, next, diables navigation (top left).

Thanks Chris,
After I posted, I had another go and stumbled across it. Think this is the trouble with not producing a comprenhensive instruction manual, you rely on "trial and error" or forums like this where you have to ask basic questions. I'm sure I'm not using 1/4 (if I'm lucky...) of its capabilities and its not until you want to try something new that you have to start searching around.

Something else to bear in mind is you can assign functions to the buttons of the PDA to suit your individual needs, so you could assign a button to turn of navigation in one easy step.

Thanks Chris
That would be a useful feature, sure I'll get around to that soon. Now all I need is that Instruction manual........goes back to what I was saying earlier about not even being aware of its capabilities
Thanks again
Garry

The TomTom manual is available for download from the Tom tom site but is normally included on the CD Rom.
