Default TomTom3 Bluetooth settings

Hi !
This might be a dumb question but I have to ask. I can't fins out the right settings for tomtom to comunicate with my BT GPS reciver. It's a reciver called roadnav rn-600.
When I connect my Ipaq to the reciver with BT I found a device called "SPP slave" I bound my ipaq with it and both the ipaq and reciver indicates there is a bluetooth connection. And there is now my problem starts. The reciver indicates it's have contact with one or more GPS sattelites. BUT.... when I start tomtom he says that that he can't determine a correct GPS location.

I have no idé how to setup the gps in tomtom, I think I have tried all the possible combinations. If I look at the tech spec of my reciver it has support for nmea 0183 with 3800 baud.

When looking in the settings in tomtom I can use alot of different nmea 0183 connections. I have tried: nmea 0183v2 bluetooth with "serial cabel on BT" bluetooth serial port com6, 7 and 8.

I have tried nmea 0183v2 38400 with the same "ports"

The reciver shuld also have support for SIRF, I have tried that to.

What am I doing wrong? what settings huld I use? Can't I use my reciver with tomtom? is there something wong with the install so I have to reinstall tomtom?

//Oscar

Welcome to our forums.
Try selecting TomTom Wireless GPS & Bluetooth Serial Port COM(?)
The "?" depends on what COM ports you have available.

Have you "bonded" your GPS reciever with your PDA?

In the STATUS page of TomTom GPS you will get dots moving when you have an active connection with the receiver.
