Default Tom Tom Ram urgent

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help. I have just bought a Toshiba e310 with 32mbytes ram onboard and have tried to load Tom Tom 3 but can't get it to work. Is it that I don't have enough memory? I had it loaded onto a 128 sd ram card.
As I have a matching cable, gps and dashmount on order I really need an answer quickly so that I can change my order before it is delivered if I have got to get a different PDA.
Thanks Chris

Welcome to our forums.
32MB of RAM should be plenty for the TomTom program, however the e310 is not listed as compatible with TomTom. Only Toshiba E-400 , E-740 , E-740 BT , E-740 WiFi , E-750 BT , E-750 WiFi , E-800 BT and E-800 WiFi are listed.

That's quite strange then as I thought it would more likely be a problem of the operating system than that of the hardware. my only concern with the hardware was it's small memory. Is anyone out there using TomTom on a e310? Secondly is anyone running TomTom on a 32Mbyte Ram m/c? Thanks
Chris

Sorry, you said you have a Toshiba e310 with 32MB RAM onboard....is it onboard or is it a memory card?
The TomTom software gets installed to the internal memory of your PDA, the TomTom maps are installed to a memory card. A 32MB memory would be OK for maps smaller than that which are included on the TomTom CD.

Hi Charlie, it has 32 MBytes internal Ram and a 128 Mbytes memory card.
Thanks

I have a toshiba e335 and through speaking w/tomtom have found that their product doesn't work well w/toshibas. I am now buying a dell axim x30 and the glove fit cradle, as tomtom recommended it.
