Default TomTom Hp package with rz1710 ipaq

My mate has just got one of these from you, and we have just been looking to put the speed camera POI's on it, but there is not enough room on the memory card to do this. Infact there is only 0.25mb of space left on the card. What we can not figure out is, that there are cd's with the package to allow you to load on European maps, but no room to do this. What do we do, as my tomtom package was the H2210 with tomtom navigator 3, and i bought a 256mb card with it, and so have had no problems loading on all the stuff i want and more.

I think you need to delete the foreign voice files from the card. If you want to load other maps then you can either delete the UK map from the card provided or buy another larger card.

Ok tried to delete all the foreign voice files, but to no result. It says it has deleted them, but they are still there, and still after a reboot. Do not know which files are the correct ones to delete, to get rid of the things direct from the card.

How large are the speed cam files you are trying to put on the card?

OK now sorted it out, just loaded the files we needed, but there is only 0.06 mb left on the card now.

Sorry for the bad news

but here is your answer as i was going to buy one till i seen this

Hi thought you might like to know this

The reason of the cut-down is the internal memory on a hp rz1710.
We do not have any updates to make features as traffic camera database and postal code possible.
The only reason why the 1710 navigation is a cut down version is because 1710 is a very
limited PDA and TomTom produced a version especially for 1710.
With best regards,
TomTom support team
