Default tomtom navigator 3 and checkpoint/poi place

i have heard it is possible to set up my ipaq 2210 running tomtom navigator 3 and checkpoint 3.2 so as as soon as i place it in cradle connected to pc it will automaticaly connect and synchronise and check for new speed cameras etc.. is this possible? if so how can i set up as i been trying all sorts

I think checkpoint is a manual sync only.

oh right, thanks for that, i thought as much as i looked through all menus and couldnt see anything and tried thier website, i will just keep doing as i am doing


is there another similar program though that is auto sync or even better than checkpoint? or is checkpoint better? i find it really usefull for finding bp stations for company fuel card...

I find Checkpoint to be the better software but that's just my opinion. You need to sync it manually I believe but it's been a while since I had to sync it.
