 TomTom 3 wired GPS "lag"?
Has anyone noticed a "speed lag" using a TomTom wired GPS? (I'm using it with TTN3 and an Orange SPV M1000)
When I'm in my car and when I stop at a junction, the GPS position and speed overshoot - I can be sitting there stationary and the GPS speed is counting down through 20mph, 10mph then finally to 0mph a few seconds later.
Previously I've been using a TTN3 with a TT bluetooth GPS. This had no speed lag at all but it was a bit fiddly to use - I've had some problems with the TT Bluetooth GPS turning itself off and losing BT connection to my PDA. So I thought I'd try the wired version....
I'm using the 3.07 GPS driver; and I seem to get the lag with TomTom GPS selected in the driver, and with the standard NMEA device.
Any ideas, anyone?
