Default additional gps to tomtom BT

hi guy's

I have a palm T3 +TT BT

As mentioned before the gps is useless in London -the signal drops out way too much

Is there an additional gps HD or BT -or replacement- which will grab and keep the signal??

cheers

richard

Have you thought about adding an external antenna to see if it helps?

I guess that was what I was asking..I note that the TT BT GPS has a small socket which I wondered if I could plug in an additional reciever then that signal is BT'ed to the palm.

I looked at the store but not sure whats compatable..

cheers

I've only driven in London a couple of times (try to avoid it when I can!) but didn't particuarly notice a drop in signal. I guess if you're drving through the heart of town surrounded by tall buildings it much make a difference - it shouldn't do and sucks that you need to supplement your equipment again. I'd like to use my T3 and TT BT as a walking aid when in London but I guess that'll be even worse for the signal...

Shame isn't it...

rbartlett the socket on the TT BT GPS is for attaching an external antenna to increase the signal strength, you should be able to get on ethrough TomToms website.

Unfortunatley we have never sold the external antenna for the TomTom BT GPS device.
