speed camera warnings

Please help??????

I was wondering if there is any way that my sat nav system can warn me of cameras when you don't actually plan a route??? The camera symbols still come up on the screen however i don't receive any warnings.

I have an HP Ipaq 1710 wired version and everything else seems to be working perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I "think" you can only be warned when they are "en route".
