Charlie, i dont suppose you could elaborate on the colour assignments could you?
I have an original tomtom wired gps (leadtek - SirfXtrac i believe).
The Cable on the GPS only has 3 conductors (Red,Brown and Orange).

I have tried to connect them up to the tomtom mount as A1,A2 and A3 but all i get is
'No GPS Device'

Any help would be much appreciated

Paul

Hi,
I also have just had this problem with my IPAQ 2210 and the wired GPS connection to the cradle. About 3 weeks ago it was (literally) hanging by a thread. At work I have the tools needed to crimp a new end, but I have just done that and get no GPS device as well.
Like 'PaulRyan' I have Red,Brown and Orange, but I think they go to A2,A3 and A4 (A1 had a 'filler' conductor in it).
I can normally test cables at work, but I cant with the GPS receiver on the end.

Any help would really be appreciated as it is out of action at the moment

Thanks
Graham
