Default TomTom locks up BT ports

I have a problem where I have two pieces of software that use the bluetooth ports, TT3 is one and then intelligolf is the other . I don't use them at the same time but once I have installed TT3.07 intelligolf tells be it can use com 8, if I uninstall TT3 then the intelligolf works, this actually happens with any other app that connect to the GPS on com8 via BT ?????

You need to download and install TomToms v2.07 GPS driver to get around this problem.

It looks like even v2.07 is messed but if you folllow the instruction above you can still use the latest GPS ver.
Works for me

I can't say I've had any problems with v2.07 which allows me to run TomTom3 and Navman SmartST v2 without any conflivts. Thanks for posting that link though, may be of use to someone.

Many thanks for that post Warlock looks like it's just what was needed.
Since installing TT3.07 my XDA has refused to link up to my bluetooth headset which I use as my handsfree when driving. Drove me so mad I had to un-install TomTom as I need the handsfree more than i need navigation in the same unit.
Haven't re-installed tt3 yet but when I do at least now I can sort out the BT stack to get some function back again.
It's not like I'm even using the bluetooth for TT as I will be linking my XDA up to my Road Angel for my GPS device, so was infuriating that I couldn't use both TT and my headset at the same time.

Does this still affect version 5? I have just placed an order for it and was just wondering if I need to mess about with it to free up the BT driver?
