Question TomTom 4.44 on XDAIIi no screen keyboard?

Hope some-one can help as I'm new to all this GPS stuff.

Have a XDA IIi PPC onto which I have just installed TomTom ver 4.44 but I have no onscreen keyboard to input locations with, and it takes a long time to scroll down through all street lists.
Is there an option I am missing somewhere to enable the keyboard?

Can't get the program fully functioning yet anyway as I am awaiting a link cable to connect to my Road Angel GPS device, but would like this all setup and ready to go when I can get that.
Cheers.

Welcome to our forums.
I have to ask, how are you using v4.44? v3.07 is the latest PocketPC version available unless I'm mistaken.

Looks like I have got the wrong version of Tom Tom for the PPC.

Have been serching the internet and appears that version 4.44 is only for Palm operated PDA's. V4.44 installs ok on PPC but some features and functions are not working. I would have thought that it wouldn't have worked at all if it was a different operating system.

Typical.
Will have to go and purchase TT3 now.

Thats unlucky, I'd have never thought the Palm version would install but then I'd never tried it.
