navigator 5

Hi everyone!

Good to see that the upgrade programme has started for navigator 5. I was wondering though, will I receive a new memory card when I upgrade or will I have to use the old one?

It doesn't seem to mention it on the tomtom site (or I may just have missed it).

£59 isn't it ? I have TT3...what happened to TT4 ? Do you think I will be able to upgrade from 3 to 5 with no mishaps ?

tomtom 4 is the HP package which comes with the 1710, we now have tomtom 5 in stock FYI

i dont think it comes pre installed in the memory card but i have been wrong before, i will let you know 2morow when i get a chance.

I saw the "in stock" flag on the website this morning. Spoke to Customer Services who confirmed it's in stock (TT5 with BT GPS). I placed my order on the web site, then recived an email that says it's NOT in stock. I fired off an email asking for clarification and was told "it's due in today".

Can I get a definative answer please: Is TomTon Navigator 5 with Bluetooth GPS unit in stock or not?

Same with me. I ordered it at 22:00 last night. The site said "In Stock" (and still does actually). Yet the e-mail confirmation states out of stock! It would be consistant as the other companies I looked at all list it as out of stock. The main TomTom website still lists it as "coming soon" too. Me thinks it is not out yet!?

Just e-mailed www.totalpda.co.uk and got a reply in seconds! (How's that for customer service?) Anyway it is due in today/Monday.

Still slightly concerning that they are advertising the product as being 'In Stock' whereas this is not actually the case! Let's wait and see what happens next week... globalpositioningsystems genuinely DO have TomTom5(BT) in stock btw.
