We always recommend that you turn IR of on your PDA, on some PDA's like the XDA and i-mates + others com 1 is locked to IR. If you get the error cannot open com1, com 1 does not exist you need to disable IR please follow:

Click on start -> settings -> connections -> beam -> untick the box.

I have Tom Tom 6, Ipaq 4100 and a BT GPS receiver. When I configure TT for my reciever it seems to work, (the yellow and black circle starts to spin) but it still says No Valid GPS signal.

Please help!

Thanks

Have you all paired the devices up first?

Hi, just purchased a Mio P550 PDA with built in GPS receiver. It came with a TomTom Navigator 6 card, which I've just set up and activated, etc.... the problem is this:
I sat and waited while I thought it was searching for satellites.... and now all I get is a 'No GPS device!' message. Do I have to set up the Mio to tell the GPS to switch on or something, in the same way that you have to activate Bluetooth?
HELP?! ... oh, and yeah, thanks in advance!!!!!
