Default Tom Tom 5

HI all,

I plan to buy the new Tom Tom 5 package and get a new GPS receiver as my old one is knackered.

but as the new version of Tom Tom 5 comes pre installed on a SD card is it possible to move the files to a bigger card.

I already have a 512 SD card and wondered if I can copy the maps, program etc from the tom tom card to my bigger card so I still have space for mp3 etc

or do I have to use their card?

thanks

i dont really see why not, as long as you get all the files across.

Oddly enough, I just spoke to the one of the sales reps on the phone about the same thing. I have an XDA2 with a Kingston 512mb SD card which I use for my MP3s. I only wanted one card as I am bound to lose one of them. She said I could move the files accross but would have to reregister the new card.
