Default Another struggling newbie question - MDA Compact and TomTom

Hi there. I have just installed TT Nav on my MDA Compact (also known as I-mate Jam). The GPS portion of the software works fine, but when i start the tom tom software I get an error message stating " No Maps found please install and activate an original tomtom navigator 3 map first."
I thought I had installed the maps by using the program. I have checked the memory card ( the palce where the maps are stored.) and everything looks fine.

How do i get my software to find itself i.e. maps etc.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks
"E" Ian R

Welcome to our forums.
Can your PDA see the SD card through FILE EXPLORER?

Sorry Charlie for the faux pas, wont do it again.

Many thanks for your reply. yes the MDA can see the card as I can navigate to it with my file manager. All the files seem to be there.

Thanks

Don't worry about it

If it were me I'd format the card and install the maps again. Not sure why it isn't reading them just now.
