Unhappy TomTom 5 installation hanging ...

Hi,

Just received my TomTom5 upgrade disc, and attempting to install it.

I have my Pocket PC (hp2210) connected via ActiveSynch.

I've double clicked on the setup icon on the installation disc, selected English (UK), and then 'Install'. The TomTom installation window is then automatically minimised and, erm, thats it....

It has been there for 30 minutes now ... If I open this window, it just shows the TomTom Setup window, with the 2 folder icons, and pieces of paper slowly moving between them.

Surely this cannot be how long it takes to install?

Any ideas what the problem might be and how to solve it? I remember installing the UK maps on TTN3 took an age, but I've not got anywhere close to insalling any maps...

Many thanks,

Dave.

Oh yes it does ! I went and made a cup of tea....and when you download the UK map, don't forget the post code option also, (at the bottom of the options.) And then, when you find that the post code option doesn't work, create a seperate directory on your SD card called TomTom, and then it works. So much for their crappy installation data.
