TT5 Can't remember my favourites

Hi anyone else having probs after setting up home location & any favourites, then close TT in the proper way, then restart they have gone!
Have had 2 add as a POI for my home location, strange cos any POI added is saved, also any poi ticked to display get unticked when restarted as does adding warning sounds to a POI they get unticked sd card is unlocked?

I had the same problem. It was because the Great-Britain.cfg file in the 'Great-Britain-Map' folder on the SD card had somehow become set to read only.

I fixed the problem by syncing my Ipaq, and then using the 'Explore' button in Activesync to find the file. I then copy it to my desktop on the PC. Right clicked on it and unset the read only attribute, in properties, before copying it back to the SD card.

You could also just deleted the file. TomTom would create it again, but you would then loose all your personal settings.
