Default Tt5

Hi...I too have just upgraded to TT5 from TT3. To be honest, I am very disappointed so far...in fact I would like to go back to TT3 as I am more than happy with Checkpoint, POI Warner and an excellent Post Code option that I was using...(now defunct I understand,)
My question is....if I go back to TT3, can I at least use the more up to date maps of TT5 ?
I have found TT5 to date , to be very unuser friendly compared to 3, and the many , so called, improvements, have to my mind, complicated what was a pretty good system.
TT3 with TT5 maps, together with my existing overlays gives me what I would like . Thanks, Mat.

No i dont think that it will work, i understand what you are saying about tomtom 5 i think they removed alot of the different features, i use tomtom 5 and find the application to be simpler for new users, navigate to, postcode and away you go. TomTom have removed some of the features as TomTom 5 is multi platform so they dont have to support 3 different types of tomtom.

Mat copy the contents of the memory card to your hard drive to keep a backup then you can try the 3 maps but am sure they wont work, tomtom dont make things backward compatabile when it comes to map data.

TT 5 maps will not work with TT3. The whole program uses a different code to read the maps. I have been using TT since its release and each version does get better. Yes some things do go missing, some features have been taken off or have they?? So far I have managed to do everything that I have needed to do with all the previous versions.
