Default TomTom 5 Problems with Saving Config

I have just upgraded to TTN5 and so far like what I see. However, whenever I put in a favourite location or set up my home location it reverts back to no favourites and no home location when I switch it back on.

Also the POI's that I have put in extra just don't show up on the POI Administration.

Can anyone help please as it's become very frustrating.

Steve

Have you put the POI's in the folder named 'Great Britain'?

The file 'Great-Britain-Map.cfg' becomes read only for some strange reason. Use pocket plus or copy move the file on to your desktop, remove the read only attribute and copy it back onto your pda.

yes, I confirm fix for POI settings not being saved is to change the 'great britain' cfg file from 'read only' in propreties. If using TT5 on a pocketpc then save storage card using activesync to your pc...make above changes on pc then drag and replace old file on your pda. Problem now solved.
