Cheers,

Steve.
I have tried everything on my HP rx3715, TT5 or TT5.1 shtus itself of after about 15min, after a cpl of min i can restart the application, and i prob get about 2 hours before the software shuts itself off again.

I thought it was an incompatibility of thr software with the 3rd party BT receiver, i bought a original TT receiver, and the problem is still there.

I am thinking the there an incompatibility btw TT5 and the latest windows mobile OS, I am very temped to d/l the old OS and install it and see if it makes any difference.

Could you guys tell me what version of Win Mobile you use?

Thanks
Fabio

If the version number still shows 5.000 then you have not installed the update. You should be able to run it directly from the tomtom site. If this does not work, try the ZIP version.

I have hard reset the pda, and installed TT5.10 from the website, and it was showing the updated version, but yet not benefit.

Just updated to 5.21 which took a while and ended with a couple of screens asking to reinstall TomTom Today, and Bluetooth support.

All works OK but the show version info screen shows it is version 5.100 (5610) GPS driver v1.20. Is this normal?

I'm not sure but I thought that V5.21 is for the Palm?? If the show version says 5.1, then you have not updated to 5.21

Just had a look on the tomtom site and the update is available for the Pocket PC as well.
So you should be able to update.

Palm is update v5.201, pocket PC v.5.21

I shall try again later this week but looking at the benefits it looks like it fixes issues I will not be using, and as my system works fine I might work on the basis that 'if it's not broke' etc.

Couldn't resist, I've just run the update again and it worked a treat. Time will tell if is any better than before but at least I have the full and latest version installed now.
