TTN 5 START UP PROBLEM urgent help !!

I have been running TOMTOM 5 on my HP IPAQ1940 for around 4 weeks now and everything has gone perfect until yesterday.

I had used it and turned off, went back to my car, tried to start it up again and nothing happened ?

Its like its running in the background but doesnt open up on the screen. I click on the tomtom icon and I can see it as if its trying to open, the two hands icon is showing on the bottom left of my screen but nothing else ???

Ive tried resetting the PDA by pressing the reset button on the side of the PDA but still nothing ?

anyone else had this problem or got a fix ??

The only thing I can suggest is try and re-install tomtom.
Just one question, have you tried the update? It may solve your problems.

will try that mate and will try to update, just wondered without going thru all this if this is common or happened to anyone before ??

SEEMS MY SOFTWARE WAs ACTUALLY NOT ORIGINAL.. I bought on ebay and the guy wouldnt give me the code,, now refunded and sent the thing back and bought a GO300 system today !

MMALONE i would not recommend that you buy software from ebay, the price might be better but there is a good chance that you are buying illegal copies. Hope you have learned your lesson with regards to ebay and software.
