Default T3 + TomTom Mobile 5 "Armcode not allocated" on SD-Card

I'm running TomTom Navigator 5 Bluetooth on a Palm Tungsten T3.

It's been working great for Western Europe.

I just bought the lower 48 states US SD-card. When I slot it in, it just hangs, flashing

Armcode not allocated

I tried palmone.com support no useful info.

I tried tomtom support, again no useful info. I tried to submit the question but that crashed their site every time! What service!

I tried the card in my Palm Treo 650. Again no dice.

Any ideas?

Rmeove the memory card from the PDA, uninstall any tomtom files on the PDA. Do a soft reset and re insert the memory card.

Thanks Steven. Had already sorted it out although different to your suggestion. There's an excellent thread at

Tom Tom have created some pretty crappy software here but at last I got it to work.
